  • Asthma Health Technology
    Up to £750,000 is available to support research and development of technologies for diagnosis, monitoring and management tools for asthma. Projects should aim to transform asthma outcomes to prevent asthma attacks and improve the lives of those with asthma.
  • EPSRC Mathematical Sciences Small Grants Scheme
    Small grants are a mechanism for supporting mathematical sciences research which does not require funding at the level generally seen within standard mode. The open call is specifically aimed at providing freedom to grant small amounts between £10-80,000 for initial research and early-stage idea generation.
  • Digital Economy Telling Tales of Engagement Competition 2020
    The Digital Economy (DE) Theme is running a competition designed to help capture and promote impact arising from existing DE research grants supported by one of the UKRI DE Theme partner councils: EPSRC, ESRC or AHRC.
  • Review of EPSRC' support for Doctoral Education – Call for Evidence
    EPSRC is looking to collect evidence that can be used to develop recommendations for which outcomes in terms of knowledge, experience and skills should be supported through EPSRC doctoral training investments. The evidence will be considered by a working group of EPSRC's Strategic Advisory Network and Council members.
  • ISCF Manufacturing Made Smarter Research Centres
    On behalf of UKRI and the ISCF Manufacturing Made Smarter Challenge, EPSRC are offering up to £20 million for up to four to five Centres delivering multidisciplinary research in the area of Digital Manufacturing. Research should cover both technological and societal aspects, and should be driven by industry-identified challenges.
  • Responsive Manufacturing Call
    This call is open only to those who were successful at the outline stage of the Responsive Manufacturing call and have been invited to submit a full proposal. The EPSRC Manufacturing the Future Theme will provide up to £10M (Research Council contribution) to support a portfolio of Responsive Manufacturing research projects.
  • Research Software Engineer Fellowships 2020
    The contribution of Research Software Engineers (RSEs) to research outcomes is increasingly recognised within the UK research landscape. Research Software Engineers are key members of computational research teams who provide the critical skills required to develop, support and evolve software to tackle the research challenges they face.
